Providence RI, July 13, 2023 – The Hayden Foundation, a philanthropic organization committed to empowering educational opportunities for individuals and communities, recently visited the Providence Campus of Roger Williams University to learn more about the University’s trades program.
The visit to Roger Williams University’s Electrical Apprenticeship Program provided a platform for both organizations to share meaningful information about the current landscape of trades education in Rhode Island.
“At the Hayden Foundation, the Board of Trustees firmly believes in the transformative power of education and training,” said George Panichas, Executive Director of the Hayden Foundation. “Our visit has reinforced our commitment to exploring how the foundation might support various educational institutions throughout the state that create lasting educational impacts for Rhode Islanders.”
The Electrical Apprenticeship Program at Roger Williams University’s Providence Campus provides comprehensive training and hands-on experience for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the electrical trades, with expanded programming in the months ahead.
